Located just South of Charlevoix, off of US 31, our location offers our clients convenience and easy accessibility for all boating needs. We are a family-owned business and a proud community supporter. With over 85 years of combined experience, we are equipped with the knowledge to help you accomplish your boating dreams. We have helped countless families get on the water, create memories, and cherish the water lifestyle that Northern Michigan offers–this is the most rewarding aspect of our job!

Barney Way & Scott Boss

Both Scott & Barney grew up here in Charlevoix and have always had a passion for boating. Together, their knowledge, skills, and strong partnership full of trust & integrity has been key in the success of Dry Harbour and what's made Charlevoix such a boating destination that it is today. 

Meet our Staff

Dorine Britton is the Controller at Dry Harbour Marine and has been with our team since we opened our doors in 1997. Dorine holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Davenport University with High Honors. She has been a volunteer as a District Administrator for the Little League Baseball Incorporation and is an avid Tiger’s fan. Dorine has been a resident of Northern Michigan for over 30 years and wouldn’t have it any other way; we live in our playground.

Kyle DeYoung is a Sales Associate at Dry Harbour Marine. Growing up in Charlevoix, he’s passionate about this area, community and the boating lifestyle. After a decade spent in Chicago working in the Sports Marketing industry, he decided it was time for a change and to call Charlevoix home once again. When not out on the water, you can find him on the nearest golf course or exploring the outdoors of Northern Michigan. With a degree in Business Administration and a background in Sales & Operations, Kyle provides a personable experience when it comes to getting you out on the water and into your next family boat.

Kelsey Way is the Marketing Director and Sales Assistant at Dry Harbour Marine. She also is born and raised in Charlevoix and grew up with a love for the water and boating. After high school she went onto college at Northwood University and graduated with a Degree in Finance. Family, friends, and community make this town and this business her favorite place to be throughout the whole year.

SERVICE TEAM

Zach Ward is our Service Manager.

Anne McPhillips has been the Warranty and Service Writer since 1999 at Dry Harbour Marine. She also handles our shipping and online sales, keeping our service department running smoothly. On her spare time, Anne enjoys riding her horse on the trails and reading a good book.

Amanda May is our Customer Service Representative.

Larry Holecheck is a Lead Service Technician at Dry Harbour Marine.

Tracy Meadows is a Lead Service Technician at Dry Harbour Marine.

Mike Stead is a Service Technician at Dry Harbour Marine.

Garrett Bemis is a Service Technician at Dry Harbour Marine.

Chris Rice is a Service/ Yard Technician at Dry Harbour Marine.

Mike Gagnon is a Service/ Yard Technician at Dry Harbour Marine.

Chasyn Vondran is a Tech at Dry Harbour Marine.

James Crain is our Parts Manager at Dry Harbour Marine. James has grown up in Charlevoix and after 26 Years in Automotive Parts Industry, he decided to try out Marine Parts to mix it up. Very knowledgeable and experienced asset to our team and here to assist you with all your Parts Needs!

Josh Vargas is the Detail Manager at Dry Harbour Marine. He acquires over 12 years of experience in the marine industry and has found his niche in detailing. His work is an art, from bringing a boat back to looking like it just came out of the showroom, to maintaining the boat with his knowledge of products and materials. Since he’s been with us, he has created an entire department here at Dry Harbour and now expanding his crew and developing a new career path for aspiring workers here in Northern Michigan.

Terry Bentz is our Paint & Gel Coat Expert. His son, Seth Bentz goes to Charlevoix High School and is his dad's right hand man when he can!

Savanna Bartz is a Detail Technician at Dry Harbour Marine.

Justin Klooster is a Detail Technician at Dry Harbour Marine.

Megan Horning is a Detail Technician at Dry Harbour Marine.
